2006 - Innovation Award
Logicom has won the Chamber of Commerce Innovation Award which is sponsored by PriceWaterHouseCoopers. This is for the advance and innovative work that Logicom have produced and in particular the virtual town educational programme developed for British Gas which will be delivered to all students between the age of 12-18.
The guest speaker was Lady Betty Boothroyd. The event was hosted by the President of Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce, Peter Muir (C.B.E.), Sean Hickey (Chief Executive of the Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of commerce). The event took place on Thursday 11 th May at the Whittlebury Hall Hotel.
David Varey (Managing Director) and Majid Al-Kader (New Media Director), accepted the award on behalf of Logicom.
