Gas Industry Award - 3 years in a row!

Gas Industry Award 2007

For the third year in a row, the British Gas Engineering Academy won a Gas Industry award at the Society of British Gas Industries (SBGI) and Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM) lunch in London . The award was for winning the Energy Efficiency category with an e-learning product developed by Logicom.

The event took place at the London Hilton Hotel on the 8th of May 2007. The awards is organised to recognise achievements in the Gas Industry. The award was given to Mr Chris Conant of British Gas.

This award training programme is designed for individuals who want to update their knowledge and understanding of energy efficiency to current standards. It is of particular use to those working towards the Energy Efficiency in Domestic Heating - Part L qualification. This training course is invaluable preparation for the Certification of Competence in Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating - Part L. It combines audio, animation and sophisticated graphics to create a stimulating two-and-a-half hour training package. Users can repeat sections at will and take the course at their own pace. Interactive questions and answer sessions, interspersed throughout, provide an excellent indication as to an individual's level of understanding. The programme is currently used by British Gas engineers, FE colleges and gas training centres.
