Logicity coming soon!

Logicity The National Energy Foundation (NEF), British Gas and Logicom have joined forces to develop a widely available, innovative, virtual-reality educational programme about climate change. The programme will be freely available to the general public and will be designed to particularly engage those aged between 16-26. The programme is currently in development and it's launch is expected in September 2007.

The project involves developing a highly interactive virtual-reality based computer game. Firstly illustrating the kind of direct effects on climate change the player is likely to experience in their own lifetime. Secondly it demonstrates what effect the actions that they take today can have on them in 60 years time. Key to the programme is that the various real-life climate change scenarios will be based on peer-reviewed and robust sources of information. This will bring home to individuals the reality of the changes they face in their lifetime.
