MIS - Scheidegger Plumbing Course

MIS This programme is designed to support students after they have studied the related knowledge and skills section. The package aims to allow students to put into practice all they have learnt in the course.

The programme has been designed as part of the MIS course in a supportive environment with a trainer delivering the course.

The programme includes an introduction module covering basic information about the aim of the scenarios, navigations, menus, etc. Users then proceed to the Real World Environment where there are four scenarios for them to work through. These scenarios are presented with a game element, providing motivation, challenge, engagement and fun for the users.

Four highly interactive scenarios set in a Real World Environment which simulates the work environment in a house, forms the central part of the programme. Each scenario takes between 20 and 30 minutes to complete. Each scenario is set up with a model pathway to be followed, enabling engineer to follow the best practice and a methodical approach to fault finding.

The user is allowed a carefully limited choice for the tests they carry out and decisions they make. This allows variations to the pathway they take each time they repeat a scenario. Users are encouraged to complete each scenario as close to the model answer as possible – indicated by their final score.
