A number of our Virtual Worlds users create their own 3D models for use within the program, and they have indicated that they would be interested in making these models available to other users. We have therefore decided to possibly create an ‘e-shop’ linked to the Virtual Worlds website which will allow us to distribute these models. There will probably be a cost for these models (which will be passed back to the originator), but you will be able to view them in a window before deciding whether to purchase them or not.

In order to gauge the amount of interest in the idea, would you please let us know your thoughts by email using the address nadine.dechenu@logicom.com If you are interested in having any of your existing models made available, or indeed working with our modelling department to create new ones that we believe could be wanted by our users, then we would be particularly interested in hearing from you. Similarly if there are particular models or manufacturers’ catalogues that you would like to see available on Virtual Worlds, please let us know.

We will of course continue to work with our manufacturing partners to provide up-to date catalogues of their products which are made available at no cost to you via the download centre on our website.

You may recently have received and email from CADMOD, one of our Virtual Worlds users, who have been marketing their modelling services and existing models that they have created. We would like to assure you that we have not supplied any email addresses to them. We have however had meetings with them to discuss how we could work together to improve the range of products ad catalogues available to our users and we will notify you of any developments.
